101 Boot Camp Session 1: Planned Giving: The Why and The How @ Alberici

The Saint Louis Planned Giving Council and the Association of Fundraising Professionals are again partnering to host a three-part Planned Giving 101 Boot Camp Series.

The series is designed to introduce the concepts of planned giving to development professionals, executive directors, board members and others who are either new to planned giving or interested in starting a planned giving program. It will appeal to experienced gift planners as well. Presented over three sessions, experts will share their practical knowledge and proven templates for success. Walk away with specific actions to implement immediately and plans to keep building your program! Session format includes Q&A.

Planned Giving: The How & the Why

Do you want a program that will yield 200 times a donor’s annual gift to your organization? Does the legal fog of acquiring a planned gift make your knees turn to jello?  Do you want the words to use – the phrase that pays – when asking for a bequest?  If so, this is the workshop for you!

Speakers: Carol Weisman – President of Board Builders and Michael McMurtrey – VP-Investment Officer with Wells Fargo Advisors
