Nicola Lawrence, MSC, PgC, CFRE®, CAP®, is AVP, Philanthropic Advising, at Phoenix Children’s. Born and raised in Northern England, Nicola attended Wigan College, the University of Leicester, York St Johns and Dundee University, and the American College of Financial Services specializing in business, finance and nonprofit leadership. She has made the US home since the 1990s. Over the last two decades Nicola has led sustainability and legacy based giving through successful campaigns at a variety of nonprofits, both in the US and internationally. A thought leader in the industry, Nicola serves on the national board of Charitable Gift Planners, and the National Leadership Institute, roles in which she serves to educate and advocate for the profession of charitable gift planners, nonprofit operations and the allied professions.
